Lauren Chang, a member of Womble Bond Dickinson’s GCSolutions team, has several years of experience steering corporate governance, ensuring basic SEC compliance, and providing commercial legal advice that balances risk mitigation with strategic business objectives.
Prior to joining the firm, Lauren led the legal department of an international, publicly traded company that manufactured and distributed basic and well-known branded apparel to wholesale and retail buyers. In this role, she performed corporate secretarial duties and worked alongside executive leadership and senior management providing advice on corporate governance, disclosure requirements, fiduciary duties, compensation programs, insider trading, and other regulatory issues. She was also heavily involved in contract negotiation and review, supporting human resources, drafting and maintaining company policies, and M&A activity.
